On April 11, 2019, at approximately 9 a.m., the City of Adair Village lifted the previously issued Boil Water Notice.
PLEASE RESUME ALL NORMAL WATER USE.
All testing came back negative for any contaminants.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation during this event.
On April 9, 2019, at approximately 12 p.m., the City of Adair Village had a main line break resulting in loss of pressure to a large portion of the City.
**As a result, the City is implementing a 48 hour boil water notice as a precaution.**
EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY AND UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE, WATER MUST BE BOILED FOR A MINIMUM OF ONE (1) MINUTE PRIOR TO DRINKING, COOKING, BRUSHING TEETH, WASHING FRUITS AND VEGETABLES, PREPARING BABY FORMULA, MAKING ICE AND CLEANING FOOD CONTAINERS AND SURFACES.
Customers will be notified when they no longer have to boil their water.
The City has no reason to believe there is any threat due to this situation. Again, this is just a precaution mandated by State law.
